More Rain on the Way

Over the past week many places across the Southern US have seen over 6″ of rain. The threat for rain will continue through the next week, further exasperating the flooding threat that is already in place across the South. The moisture flow will continue to work its way into the Southeast and bring even more rain.

Although totals are not significant compared to what many have seen, the amount that is on the way will continue flooding across the Southeast.

Many areas across the Southeast US have seen over half a foot of rain over the past seven days which have soaked the grounds to the point where they can’t handle much more. Also, notably areas have seen 4″-8″ above normal over the past week which is all thanks to the Pacific Ocean.

Over the next week many rivers and streams will be overflowing their banks causing flooding for many in the Southeast.
