Daily Forecast 2/22

Daily Forecast 2/22:

Discussion:

The plume of moisture from the Pacific Ocean will continue to infiltrate into the Carolinas. During the morning we have the potential for dense fog which will  limit visibility, so take it easy on the roads. Areas in the darker green will pick up another 1″-3″ and the heaviest will be in the mountains. High temperatures will occur overnight for most of the area as cold air to the north pours in.

Next Three Days:

This weekend looks to e a washout, especially in the northern part of the Carolinas. Areas to the north will pick up an additional 1″2″ (Not including Friday). Temperatures will make it into the 60s and 70s on Sunday, but will be humid as Gulf of Mexico moisture moves into the region. The flood threat will continue through the weekend, especially in the hardest hit areas.
