More Wet Weather Ahead from Southeast to Mid-Atlantic

Just as things may temporarily dry out, more is on the way next week, and it could be a repeated rain event where many floods occur. This time the area of concern could shift to the west, and could include the western Piedmont of NC and VA. Also, much of the Southeast once again gets drenched. Travelers make plans to accommodate threatening weather next week. Some of the major cities could be on the delay board at the airport.

The timing is around the 31st of July to August 4th. Up until then, continue to expect showers and drenching thunderstorms for many in the meantime.
