More Wet Weather This Weekend

As many of you are tired of the rain, there is no rest for the weary. When it rains, it pours so to speak. Any vacation plans this weekend could be foiled if they are outdoor ones, such as going to the beach. Friday may be ok, but later in the day showers and storms begin to pop up around the region. And by Saturday, rain becomes more widespread as a wave of low pressure takes hold of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. This pesky low pressure will remain through the weekend, and will cause nuisance showers and storms for outdoor activities.

Flooding could occur again as the ground is already saturated. When roads are covered in water, do not attempt to drive through as the water may be deeper than you think, which is extremely dangerous. Saturday and Sunday hold the highest potential for downpours. Have alternate indoor plans this weekend ready if you plan to be outside!
