Next Weekend to Feel Opposite of This Weekend

Cold lovers rejoice, as a below-normal to near-normal airmass moves in next weekend! This is of course after a warm humid week, and a tropical system to contend with later this week. See our article on this site for future Nicole impacts.

Timing: The cold air looks to move in on Sunday and by next Monday morning, many of us could wake up to the 30s. Daytime highs may not get out of the low 50s.

Longer Range:

Even more good news for the heat haters, the pattern looks to sustain itself into late month. Much of the nation is expected to have below normal temperature chances. Below is the outlook into the 20th.

Bottom line: Hang on this week for more warm and humid conditions, and a tropical system moving up the coast from Florida. Eastern NC and SC could have some tornadoes to deal with as well as other impacts.
