Pattern Change Coming Around the 30th

12-24-2016

After a very warm Christmas in the South, we will likely see a pattern flip around the 30th, which is bringing much colder temperatures. As a ridge of high pressure builds over Alaska, we could be seeing a much colder pattern across the East Coast U.S. to start January. This could be good news for snow lovers! This is fairly reliable since the GEFS ensembles are showing this.

As for now, I am seeing a possible winter storm around January 9th in the South in the form of mixed precipitation! This is much more iffy. Stay tuned to easternwxconsulting.com !
