Rain and Storms Will Litter Radar Thursday

Rain and storms will continue at times for NC and SC tonight and into early Thursday morning. There will be rumbles of thunder for western NC/SC, however no storm is expected to be severe, although a random warning or two could be issued.

Thursday we will see more rounds of rain and storms as Tropical Storm Mindy passes well to our south, but will draw up moisture from the Gulf. Below are 24-hour estimated rain totals.

Fortunately things improve Thursday night after dark, as the rain and whatever leftover storms remain will push offshore, as we will dry out Friday.

Thursday 9pm estimated radar:

High pressure will build in for the weekend, bringing perfect college and NFL football weather. Sunshine will prevail, however later on Sunday clouds may move back in.
