Rest of April Could Turn Chilly

It’s a cool weather lover’s dream, as the Climate Prediction Center is now calling for below average temperatures for the remainder of April.

Below is the 6-10 Day Outlook, which shows a high probability of below normal temps for much of the East. This could be from rain or continued cold fronts bringing in chilly air behind.

And for the ultimate cool weather lover’s dream, the 8-14 Day Outlook which covers until May 1st, is below. Continued below normal temps are expected until then.

This is rather strange after a much above normal winter temperature-wise. Given that we are headed into an El Nino pattern, this summer may not be as hot as first thought.

More on that in another article. Have a great start to the week!
