The GFS has been consistent with a severe weather outbreak across Louisiana again early next week around the 20th. They do not need this, since New Orleans was recently ravaged by tornadoes.
Too early to tell if this is only heavy rain or not, but this time of year, in a warm pattern, and with such intense precipitation printout, we could be looking at another round of severe weather.
