Short-Term Relief from the Heat on Monday, Saturday even Cooler

Slightly Cooler air Filters into the Northeast Monday, More so Next Saturday

Some welcome relief is headed mainly into the Northeast for Monday, with slightly cooler temperatures than they have been experiencing. The Southeast will also see a bit of relief, but will still remain in the low 90s. At least the upper 90s and 100s will not be in the news any longer. Monday Euro 500mb height anomalies shows a slight trough in the Northeast, signaling the temporary cooler conditions:

We also have another treat to send you, next Saturday looks like relief will return once again, this time it will be felt by more people. This could be in the form of clouds, rain, and storminess. Nonetheless, slightly cooler conditions will abound next weekend.
