Snow Possible from Mississippi to Pennsylvania This Week

As yet another southeast snowstorm sets it’s sights on the region, most of us can expect rain and maybe even severe storms. The mountains will get the snow this time, as well as parts of the Deep South. The new and improved FV3-GFS is showing light snow from as far south as Louisiana and up into Mississippi and then along the west side of the Appalachians. Western NC could see hefty amounts as well as eastern Tennessee. This can change, but as for now there is not enough cold air across the piedmonts of NC, SC, and VA.

End of week snow totals by 1 pm Saturday Dec 22nd. From www.tropicaltidbits.com
