The SPC has placed the Carolinas east of I-77 and eastern Virginia in a marginal risk for severe storms Friday. While this will not be a widespread outbreak, a few storms could go severe and perhaps with a random spin-up or two. Just remain aware in general to be safe. Otherwise this will mostly be a rain event.
