Temperatures Next Week Could be 15-20 Degrees Below Normal

After having “summer in winter” things are now cooling off back down to normal. In fact, today had a bit of a chill to it, if you weren’t directly in the sun. But now things will be more like March, and even February at times.

Above is the GFS model for Tuesday next week, when temperatures could be at their coldest, or around that time. This would translate to 30 to 40 degrees F maybe during the day.

Snow chances are not zero, but still unlikely given that it’s March. But we could have a “thread the needle” event. Each day past mid-month is an increasing chance for no snow.

Crazy to think this could be the first snowless winter since the 1800s in Charlotte. And now we are finally having winter in spring.
