***Relief From This Heat Wave***
This heat wave is relentless, but we may have a temporary relief due to rain appearing this weekend. The humidity will still be a little high but we won’t feel like a melting popsicle when we step outside. The precipitation will help adjust the temperatures to a slightly lower/cooler feeling due to a front moving in. The temperatures will still be a little hot but not as bad as it was in the beginning of the week.
Although the temperatures may drop a tad bit this weekend, keep in mind it may be a wet one. Rain is due to fall upon the Carolina’s and Virginia, especially on Saturday. We may see an accumulation of an inch to an inch and a half of rainfall off the coasts of Virginia and the Carolina’s. The rain may spread across this upcoming weekend but we can appreciate the beauty in having a short reprieve from this heat wave.
