Tornadoes Likely In The Carolinas and Virginia Today

Be on the lookout ANYTIME today for threatening weather, as eastern NC, southern VA, and eastern SC could all be part of a tornado outbreak today. Threats are not just limited to tornadoes as high winds and hail are also very likely. There is no set time or location specifically that will get hit, and that’s why everyone in the red and orange especially need to be on guard today. Charlotte and Easter including the Triad and Raleigh will be in the path of extremely dangerous tornado-producing storms today.

Any outdoor activities should be cancelled for safety and maybe schools should not have class today. Everyone should just watch to see how the weather turns out.

Consult your local NWS for official watches and warnings as always. Have a way to receive timely weather alerts today as they can save your life!

By tomorrow (Saturday) we clear out and turn much cooler. It will not be as warm as recent days since the cold front is the weather changer that will push through. This is the SECOND threat of storms later today as it will be a squall line with wind damage and perhaps more tornadoes.

VERY active day ahead!
