Tropical System Could Spin up Off Coast Saturday

It will be nice all week, if not stellar, but then on Saturday some could experience a washout. That’s typical these days right? But as long as you know in advance, you can plan your weekend outdoor activities accordingly. A weak tropical system off our coast will cause gusty winds and heavy rains.

Any location in the dark green above has a high likelihood of seeing a soaking rain on Saturday. Not ideal for a beach trip either. Good day to plan activities for indoors! Keep an eye out for any flood alerts, as rivers, creeks, and streams could rise suddenly and unexpectedly.

Unfortunately this tropical system could bring humidity behind it, and we could be in for a juicy airmass once this system exits. Otherwise the tropics do not look threatening for us. There is one storm out in the Atlantic that will likely make a right hook out to sea.

All for now!
