Tropical System for the Southeast Possible Mid-Month

The Euro has been sniffing out potential trouble in the Gulf of Mexico next week, however development is not certain at this time. If a tropical system does form however, it could track over the Southeast US bringing heavy rains and strong winds which could cause flooding and power outages. The Euro takes the tropical system over the Carolinas next weekend into the 15th.

The potential system could form near the Gulf Coast by next weekend. According to the Euro this would be at most a weak tropical storm if something does form.

From Florida and Alabama to Georgia and the Carolinas need to monitor this system as it could cause disruptions to the power grid and also flooding. Shown below is the Euro for next Saturday valid at 8pm.
