UPDATE – Severe Threat Expanded into Southeast Virginia and Down Into Georgia

The growing threat of severe thunderstorms Monday has many pages posting about it. The threat will be there, but for whom exactly is still unknown as far as individual cities and towns. However, Monday night there could be a line of severe storms causing wind damage, power outages, and hail that could stretch all the way from GA to Se VA. Please keep in mind that this graphic from the SPC is yellow for now, but MAY go orange tonight or tomorrow, which would put many in the Enhanced zone. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Residents should have a method to receive severe weather warnings on Monday into Monday night. Please heed ALL warnings if one is issued! You may send storm reports by visiting our group on Facebook >>> East Coast Weather Authority Storm Spotters.
