Warm March Pattern to Continue into Late Month

As we are now in the month that heralds spring, the pattern and especially temperatures are beginning to look and feel like it also. Temperatures are expected to be in the 70s today across the Southeast depending if the sun can come out or not. If it does, then our high temperatures could be off to the races. And the rest of this week also looks to be above average temperature-wise.

This weekend we cool off only slightly, and then the warmer temperatures rebound again next week, especially later next week.

The Euro ensemble mean is indicating an East Coast ridge, which will send our temperatures back into the 70s once again. At this point, we feel fairly confident that snow could be done for the season, unless some kind of freak event happens into April.

But for now, the longer days will make it easier for the sun to warm things up, and for the grass to grow and birds chirping. On the plus side, grilling outdoors will be more bearable as well as sitting out on your decks or balconies.

Rain chances are not zero, so the theme will be warm and wet!
