Weekly Carolina Outlook for Oct 5 – Oct 17

The week will start off with a mix of clouds and sun for many, but then as the disturbance in the Gulf dissipates and high pressure takes charge over our region, then things will turn nice. We will have highs in the upper 70s this week, and we will start to inch into the 80s by mid to late week. Then the threat of rain returns from Thursday into Saturday, as what could be Tropical Storm or Hurricane Delta could move our way in the form of remains. We might have to watch for a severe threat in the western Carolinas later this week if the remains of the storm pass by to our west. The threat for flooding is a concern for the western Carolinas later this as these tropical remnants pass through our region. However, the first half of the week should be nice, so get out and enjoy it!
