Winter Weather Risk Increasing for Next Week

We’re now within the timeframe to start talking about a favorable pattern for anything wintry leading up to Christmas Eve. Confidence is still low, so we are going only with Slight and Elevated winter weather risks as of right now. The higher threat will be inland, as usual, however this will be subject to change based on trends.

The above thoughts lines up with what NOAA just put out this morning regarding winter weather probabilities. Currently there is an overall 10-30% chance of wintry precip leading up to Christmas Eve next week.

Details are still fuzzy and may not be known until the night before. Up North, they have a higher chance of a white Christmas! Our chances on Christmas Eve are not zero.

We will keep updating our map and will share on the page. So make sure you invite friends and family to follow us!
