Fall will have to be put on hold because another ridge sets up next week in the East, allowing for temperatures well above average for this time of the year.
As you can see the East coast will be a shocking 3 or 4 degrees above average, and in the Midwest temperatures of nearly 15 degrees above normal can be reached! This will allow for that warm tropical air to surge north bringing temperatures in the mid to high 80’s in the south, and upper 70’s further north.
Getting into the timing, this warm up will begin at beginning of next week and will stick around into the weekend. So enjoy the warm weather while it lasts as summer makes its last stand.
