Below Normal Temperatures Likely Late This Week; May Last into Late-Month

There has been a signal for another pattern change, which is where we will go from above-normal temps to below-normal. The changes are set to arrive on Thursday. Friday will be noticeably cooler than this last Friday.

Below is when the fun begins on the GEFS, late Thursday night into Friday morning:

Saturday morning could be on the chilly side. We won’t likely have a freeze however we could reach the upper limits of a frost.

Around the 22nd things look to remain below-normal:

There is no pronounced warmth into the end of the month. This could be a signal for a rainy pattern, since in late April cool and dry is rare.

Get ready to possibly need a boat. However, cool AND dry is still possible, so keep checking back for the latest here on the site!
