Bright Blue Sunny Days on Hold Temporarily

There was a streak of gorgeous weather this week, but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end (well, at least most good things anyway. Rain chances will slowly creep up into the weekend, although widespread rain is not expected. This will be in the form of showers either on Saturday or Monday.

A more robust system moves in on Monday (below), and will be responsible for a chunk of our rain totals through next Friday.

There could be a line of storms that moves through on Thursday, but the details are not clear this far out. However, more rain is likely next week regardless. Totals below are through Friday of next week:

The Southeast does not look to remain dry, and that is probably a good thing since we don’t want droughts and wildfires. However, one would think that given the amount of rain we have had over the past year, a drought would not even be a thing.

Have the umbrella ready and decent wipes on your vehicle!
