Warmer Than Usual Temperatures Until Late Next Week

I don’t know if anyone was able to get out and enjoy the almost 80-degree temps today, but I was not one of them. While the threat of rain will increase this weekend and into early next week, we will remain above-average as far as temperatures. In fact, some evenings may feel like late spring with lows in the 60s and dewpoints slowly creeping up.

Warm than normal conditions are expected to remain until Thursday next week or so according to the Euro:

Some rainy days are ahead as we enter the weekend but really the steadiest rain looks to come on Monday of next week. On Thursday there could be a major temperature swing across the country, and it could mean a severe outbreak starting on Wednesday in the Plains. This line of storms could make it to the Carolinas, so stay tuned.

That’s the story and we’re sticking with it…
