Carolina Weekend Outlook Sat 9/12-Sun 9/13

The weekend is here, and the threat of rain seems to want to stick around. This has been the trend for much of this summer. The air will also feel sticky, since humid onshore flow from the east will keep things humid. Saturday there is a chance of rain across all of the Carolinas, but with a focus along the state line and Charlotte. Highs Saturday will only be in the low 80s in NC and upper 80s in SC, with the exception of only the 70s in spots where it rains most of the day.

Sunday looks like perhaps less of a chance of rain, but it will be cloudy with highs mainly in the upper 70s to low 80s across the Carolinas, with perhaps mid to upper 80s along the coastal locations. The big story both days will be tropical air, which will make for very muggy conditions.
