Cooler Than Usual Temperatures Likely into Mid-May for Many

It’s not exactly going to be beach weather here over the next couple of weeks, however a quick warmup is possible on Sunday and Monday, and even into Tuesday. However by Wednesday another powerful cold front will move though bringing more much below normal craziness. At least we won’t sweat as soon as we walk outside. At least not yet.

This cooldown will be below normal for May, and that means morning lows in the low 50s. Some outlying areas could see lows in the 40s.

Below are the forecast lows overnight Thursday into Friday. This could be a decent snapshot of some mornings late next week.

No frost of freeze concerns, just chilly air! Some of us want to go to the pool, while others are having a blast in the cool crisp air.
