Daily Forecast for Friday, May 31st, 2019

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be likely today as a cold front dives in from the northwest. There will be a risk of strong to severe storms, particularly east of Interstate 77 with damaging winds and hail being the main threats. A tornado cannot be ruled out, mainly in Eastern North Carolina and Southern Virginia. The area with a somewhat lesser, albeit still existent rain chance will be western portions of South Carolina. Have a nice day.
