Daily Forecast for Monday, June 17th, 2019

Look for dry conditions to start today most areas, but conditions will deteriorate for many later today into this evening. Eastern sections of the Carolinas should stay primarily sunny, but there is a slight chance of a shower or storm late. The mountains and foothills will stand the greatest chance of seeing some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. A few storms may contain gusty winds, hail, dangerous lightning, and torrential downpours. Your big Piedmont cities such as Columbia, Charlotte, and Raleigh also have a decent chance of seeing some scattered showers and thunderstorms later today with a strong storm not out of the question. Showers and storms may linger into tonight for some areas west of I-85. Temperatures will be seasonably hot.

Have a great Monday!
