Daily Forecast for Thursday, July 11th, 2019

Partly sunny skies with hot, and very humid conditions will be in place for your Thursday. However, do be aware that a cold front will  bring the chance of some afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm development.

Coverage will be highest across North Carolina where we could see a few strong to severe storms, particularly in the northern half of the state. Main threats would be strong winds, hail, heavy rainfall, and hazardous cloud to ground lightning with some storms.

Coverage will be somewhat less across South Carolina on more of a widely scattered basis with severe risk lower, but not zero with a stray strong or severe storm not ruled out.
