Daily Forecast for Tuesday, January 19th, 2021

Not much to talk about in the way of winter storms, or even storms in general as it has been relatively quiet in the grand scheme of things. Tuesday will overall be a nice day for most, with highs in the upper 50s and some locations could touch 60. No expecting any rain.

However the same cannot be said for later this week, when more showers move in on Thursday and Friday. Some random showers cannot be ruled out on Wednesday either. It will not be too cold this week with highs in the 50s. But we cannot seem to stay dry. Our next major storm system moves in on Monday, but it looks to be all rain at this point.

The Pacific Jet Stream, once again, is wreaking havoc on our winter and modeling. The previous 4 winters or so have been similar. Use this time to catch up on outdoor exercise or just to get out and go somewhere. Only do so if you can do safely, and always consult your local NWS office for an official forecast.

Take care and have a great day!
