As we have experienced some recent days near 80 degrees, the overall pattern will remind us that it is still March. The recent warmth does not indicate continued warmth in the weeks to come. In fact, a drastic cool-down is coming our way around the 12th into the 13th.
Morning low temperatures will likely bottom out in the low 30s, and on the low end could range from 30-32F for many. However, a quick rebound in temperatures is expected after this cold shot, as the March sun is strong in the South. Therefore temperatures will shoot back up to normal ranges.
It looks like we could go back to above-normal temperatures before the end of the month. The official start of spring could be a normal one this year. Nothing drastic.
