Sweltering Heat for Millions Across The East Coast Thursday Through Sunday

Well here we are, in the middle of summer, and yes one could expect it to be hot outside. And it certainly will be for the next 4 days or so, with sweltering heat across the East Coast. Anybody from New Jersey to Florida will see highs in the low to mid-90s, while Baltimore, DC, and south will see highs in the upper 90s to 100 degrees. This is NOT unusual for this time of year. We did forecast a cool summer, however this summer is trending more toward average. The beaches and your pool will be the only places to cool off outside. Coastal areas can expect highs not as hot as further inland, where highs could top out around 100 degrees. This map is valid from Thursday through Sunday as the high temperatures for each day. However, after Sunday we could start to see somewhat of a cool-down. Stay tuned!
