Final Call for Weekend Snow

A difficult forecast ensues for the states of NC, SC, GA, and VA including TN and even KY. The winners will be western NC in the mountains and southwest VA in the mountains. These locations could see FEET of snow.

Across the NC Piedmont, the issue become mixing which could bring down snow totals. However there is a HUGE bust potential across the Piedmont of NC and VA and even down into SC. Easterly winds could keep folks on the southeast edge from CLT to RDU all rain.

The other issue and potentially biggest issue across the Carolinas, especially from GBO to RDU could be up to .25 inch of ice. This would make travel extremely dangerous and not recommended.

Along the coastal areas, this event will be all rain. Richmond east to the Tidewater could see a trace. This also has a huge bust potential.
