Forecast for the AFC Championship Game

Good evening folks!

I thought we would do something a little fun and exciting here at East Coast Weather Authority. Since high pressure is in control here on the east coast, and not much going on precipitation-wise, it’s the perfect time to forecast a big sporting event on Sunday.

On Sunday, the AFC championship game will be played in Foxborough, Massachusetts. We have the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots playing the underdog Jacksonville Jaguars.  Kickoff is at 3:05 ET at Gillette Stadium.

What’s the forecast?

You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque day for January football in New England. With high pressure in complete control, blue skies and plenty of sunshine will be accompanied by warm temperatures. Certainly, the game won’t be impacted by the conditions. Here are the specifics:

Kickoff Temperature – 47 degrees

Winds – West at 5 mph

Skies – A few fair weather clouds, but mostly sunny

What do our followers think? Which east coast team will advance to Super Bowl LII? Let us know!
