Forecast Discussion 2/27

Forecast Discussion:

This Wednesday scattered showers will effect the western Carolinas during the morning. During the day the showers will dissipate around noon and leave behind cloudy skies in the afternoon.  A ridge in the subtropical jet will keep temperatures in the high 50’s and low 60’s in south Carolina and along the coast in North Carolina, with cooler temperatures in the 40’s in North Carolina.
Three Day Outlook:
Thursday will be warm and rainy as a low pressure system moves into the region allowing rain to persist into Friday.  Finally it will be dry on Saturday but not for long, as more rain moves into the region Saturday night and a cold front shortly after.
