Wednesday will continue to cold trend with highs stuck in the 30s and 40s for most of the region. Some scattered rain and snow showers are likely throughout the region Wednesday, but will not be long lasting and pass through quickly.

Next 3 Days:

Generally dry throughout the region over the next two days as high pressure moves in starting late Wednesday. On Friday a cold front will swing by the Mid-Atlantic and be the cold air needed to bring a wintry mess to parts of the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic starting on Saturday. Details on precipitation type and totals are not yet determined as models continue to trend back and forth.
