Freeze Likely Friday Morning Across the Southeast

As temperatures are still very March-like this week, they will crash once again before this week is over, but this time it could be in a big way. This will be a large-scale freeze event where the morning lows will be in the upper 20s and widely below 32F. Therefore, be sure to cover up or protect outdoor plants one more time before this growing season can really continue. There will be another frost potentially after this freeze but that is not certain.

We might not be completely done with the cold this Spring but it looks like we have at least another solid shot at a freeze this Friday. Then after that could be one more frost then that is typically it. But recently in the past 4 years on occasion it has stayed chilly into May. Spring has wild rides.

Coats out on Thursday night and Friday.
