We hope you are having a Happy Thanksgiving here at Carolina Weather Authority! You probably noticed the air outside has a bite. It will get COLD overnight and into Black Friday morning. So if anyone plans on being up at 4am tonight, you will need full winter gear! Below is a map of the expected lows tonight into Friday morning.
It will be even COLDER Saturday morning! This is the widespread freeze that we have been advertising for at least the past week. There will be some random 10s across northern NC! Even parts of the Lowcountry will hit freezing or below.

The cold will continue into Sunday but then on Monday temperatures will begin to modify. What about December?
For now, it looks like it will be seasonably cool. There is no “blowtorch” or any abnormally high temperatures expected for now. Overall we can expect to be near mornal into the 3rd. This trend could last all way to the end of the first week of December.

We are taking it one small chunk at a time, due to the volatile pattern we are in! And no, there are no signs of snow. There may be flurries in the mountains tonight Thanksgiving Night but not everyone will see them!
Please let us know if you do! Also, we will be rolling out a feature where you can subscribe to our website post updates (here) by email!
