After a freezing start Friday, Saturday morning will be even colder. The difference is there will be 10s across northern NC and even some outlying spots in western NC and the mountains. It will be a good morning to sleep in once again, however if you are heading out, full winter gear is advised.
Does this cold snap mean that the cold will be here to stay? Temperatures will start to climb but only slowly, and the nights and mornings will remain cold.
Temperatures will rebound only slightly into early December, but then on the 3rd temperatures go back down to below average. Shown below are morning temperature departures from average for 12/3. The next morning 12/4 is not much different.
After them temperatures rebound once again, but only slightly. The 30 degree mornings are here to stay into the first week of December. Morning lows for 12/7:
Time to keep the coat and winter hat out where you can grab them easily! Bundle up for outdoor walks.
