Friday to Feature Fall-Like Temperatures for Many

A Taste of Fall

For many on Friday morning, pumpkin spice will be in the air. Well maybe not quite, but there will be cool refreshing air in place. The remnants of Ida, although devastating in certain areas, will bring air down to the Carolinas from up north. Below are generally what we can expect for morning lows on Friday (tomorrow morning):

Will the taste of fall linger?

The refreshing morning lows will not last long however, since we are technically still in summer. However, Meteorological Fall began on 9/1. Sunday, highs are back up around 90, and for some farther south, in the low 90s once again.

We may not start getting true fall air masses closer to…you guessed it…Fall which is September 22nd. We are also still in the heart of hurricane season, so keep your guard up since it’s currently active and monster hurricanes can come out of nowhere.

We will have you covered, no worries for now, and enjoy the taste of fall and Holiday Weekend!
