Hurricane Irma

Irma went from a 70mph Tropical Storm to a Category 2 Hurricane in only 6 hours. Conditions are favorable for MUCH more development over the coming days. Here I will show you what we have going on.

This first graphic is the Euro Ensembles forecast track of Hurricane Irma, needless to say this is very worrisome!

Next, we have the GEFS forecast tracks which are further East into the Atlantic.

I can’t stress enough that this is still VERY far out in Weather terms, however, the possibility does exist for a US Mainland impact from a very powerful system. I wanted to go ahead and post on Irma though to make everyone aware of the situation!
