It Happened in March of 2009. Will it Happen Again This Year?

There is the potential for accumulating snow on Monday, however exact amounts and for what locations are unknown. March can be a wildcard month for wintry weather and even spring-like weather mixed in at times. In early March, we have seen significant snowstorms ride up the coast. Although, Monday’s event is expected to be more of your typical “Southern Slider” event and then moves offshore.

These accumulations are not likely, but just serve to remind us of how quickly things can change in early March.
