Showers and severe thunderstorms will plague the Carolinas Monday. Any storm could contain damaging winds and hail. The storms will develop later in the afternoon and evening hours, and will move east or southeast toward the coast. It will not be quite as hot as recent days. Stay weather aware if you are in the red. We don’t believe the storms will reach the beaches but be ready regardless.
