Relief Headed to East Coast for Tuesday

Who wants relief from the heat? Many of us will raise our hands eagerly. It has been a hot June in the Southeast, and it seems time for a change. That change is coming on Tuesday, but we could have to pay the price on Monday in the form of severe storms, some which could be damaging.

On Tuesday, it will feel much better outside. The Carolinas are going to notice the most difference, especially South Carolina.

A cold front will sweep across much of the Mid-Atlantic but will stall across the Deep South. Highs on Tuesday will only be around 80 for much of NC and will not get any higher than the upper 80s across SC. The heat will be suppressed to GA and FL, AL with highs in the upper 90s there.

Temperatures will slowly climb by the end of this week, and we are looking at another major heatwave to start July. Although this one does not look to last as long as the previous one.
