More Mountain Snow in the East and West including Snow the Plains

Through the middle of November, we expect to see a shift from above normal to below normal temperatures. When this happens, snow falls in the mountains due to the strong winds behind the departing front. In this map, the Upper Plains states will see some more Clipper systems move through and dump quick amounts. More snow in the Rockies as well, as ski season could be getting off to a good start out there.
