Rain Amounts and Locations for the Upcoming Weekend

Hey There Members!

A steady rain, and the steadiest of rain, seems to move in around before 1am on Sunday. A low pressure area develops over eastern TN. Rainfall rates will likely be the highest in this area. We can expect to see flash flood watches and even flash flood warnings in eastern TC and even western NC.

1 am Sun:

Things remain unsettled into Monday, as more moisture is streaming out of the Gulf of Mexico. This will keep us warm and wet in the Southeast.

Some of these clusters of precipitation could have some thunder embedded. There are times when we could have to watch for some storms. They could be on the strong and even severe side.

Here is the total amount of rain we can expect over the next week (7 days) – from the WPC (NOAA) –
