We will have a couple days of dry weather for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but then on Thursday into Friday the rain chances increase once again. Not everyone gets wet but not everyone stays dry. Thursday morning rush may be impacted if you have work, but the rain may or may not have arrived yet. The rain will be spotty on Thursday but will be more widespread Friday and into Friday night. Rain may linger longer in eastern parts of NC and SC and may last into early Saturday. Saturday and Sunday we will clear out from west to east and turn windy and colder once again, as temperatures will temporarily take a tumble. Below is the WPC total precipitation through 7pm Sunday. Take an umbrella later this week, especially Friday!
