Rain Returns for the East Coast, Heavy in Spots

The only days where we have hope for a rain free day are Sunday and Monday. Even on these days, the forecast is looking like hit-or-miss showers and storms, however on Monday we are looking like a dry day across the board and hotter.

Another upper-trough will form in the East and will bring with it rounds of showers and thunderstorms, and even flooding downpours to portions of eastern and western NC. Heavier rains could also make their way down into SC and GA.

Rounds of low pressure systems will skate across the East, bringing heavy rains from midweek through next weekend. Each day will have the potential to see rain regardless of location.
