Rain Returns Later This Week; Some Could Hear Thunder

While we are not expecting a washout on Thursday night into Friday, there could be some isolated storms in the western Carolinas that may put down some decent rains. For the eastern Carolinas, expect the threat of isolated showers to return from Thursday night into Friday.

Keep in mind although our guard is low for late this week, any storm can always produce a tornado. Most of the activity is expected to start across the western Carolinas late on Thursday as a storm system approaches from our west. Leading showers and storms will make it to western locations before eastern locations.

The threat for showers and isolated storms may continue into the weekend, as juice will be heading up our way from the Gulf. This also means that the humidity will slowly increase, which is normal for us for this time of year.

Enjoy the mainly dry days for now! Not to mention sunny. Let’s see how long we can hold onto that. Some are saying it will be a hot summer, and that could be true if the southern river of rain shuts off at some point.

Please share and thanks!
